Occurrence of aflatoxin M1 in raw milk

Mycotoxins, as secondary products of fungi, can contaminate feeds and enter the milk through the metabolic pathway in the cow's body. The most studied mycotoxin associated with milk contamination is aflatoxin M1 (AFM1). The review focuses on the identification of different types of mycotoxins and their transfer to milk, and attention is paid to a summary of the results of monitoring aflatoxins in milk and the negative effects of mycotoxins on health and the possibility of mycotoxins determination. The practical part of the thesis consists of two subchapters, namely monitoring AFM1 in raw milk of cows, sheep and goats in the years 2006-2020 from the data of the State Veterinary Administration of the Czech Republic, where the factor of the observed period and type of milk was evaluated for AFM1 content in raw milk. The second part interprets the results of AFM1 monitoring in purchased raw cow's milk delivered to the dairy factory.
Aspekty formování komoditní vertikály ovce

The diploma thesis is focused on identification of factors influencing commodity vertical of sheep. This vertical is compared with similar commodity of goat. The thesis classifies the development of this commodity on the market in Czech republic and compares it with the development in the market of EU member states. The study evaluates the development of sheep quantity status. The supply and demand side of the market as well as the proportional changes related to the foreign trade of the Czech Republic with this commodity are also examined. On the basis of the data determined by the market analysis, this commodity is evaluated. On the basis of the results obtained, it can be stated that the sheep commodity is only a marginal commodity in the Czech Republic and within the EU belongs the Czech Republic among the states with the smallest sheep population.

This bachelor thesis deals with breeding of the young farm animals in organic farming. At first, the legislation related to the ecological system of farming is mentioned. Furthermore, objectives and rules of organic production follow. The principles of organic animal husbandry are described in more detail. The next part is devoted to specific types of farm animals, namely cattle, sheep, goats and pigs. The important aspects of rearing of the youngs, specifically housing, nutrition of females and youngs and weaning, are described in these livestock. Afterwards the comparison of organic and conventional farming system is made.

In the next part the thesis deals with the requirements for breeding livestock suitable for organic farming. Next part of the thesis is devoted to the description of selected breeds of cattle, sheep, goats and pigs suitable for organic farming.

In this bachelor thesis I focused on internal parasites occurring in small ruminants, sheep and goats. Endoparasites are located in the internal organs of the host. In nowaday infections of parasitic origin represent a many problems that have a negative influence on the economics of livestock. The aim this thesis to process literature overview about current internal parasitosis digestive tract of sheep and goats, describe the basic biology and life cycles of helminths (trematodes, tapeworms, nematodes) and on the based of current knowledge about the occurrence of parasites, their sensitivity to therapeutics and their biology to process an overview of recommended procedures for diagnosis, prevention and therapy.
Family farm as an organic part of the rural space.

The subject of this masters thesis Family farm as an organic part of the rural space is position of the rural space and agriculture with possibilities for solution of specific problems of the territory. The goals of this thesis are divided into two partial tasks. The first of which is the literature review of contemporary position and happening on the countryside, the position of the family farms in the Czech Republic, the possibilities and conditions of goat breeding and requirements in cultivation. The second part is focused on project design of small family business with focus on dairy goats breeding in the LFA area and production of selected crops. The results of this thesis describe the position of the rural and agriculture in the Czech Republic. The proposal of the family farm as a small business on the countryside represents the development possibility of the village, the attractiveness of the place and total avoidance of depopulation of the village.
